| The
Cowboys and Cowgirls That Care is a nonprofit organization formed in 1998 by a group of
rodeo officials, contestants, fans, and family. The group was formed with the plan
of helping our community, while preserving a part of our country's heritage at the same
time. Since the group was formed in 1998,
we have donated the proceeds of our events to organizations such as Newaygo County
Community Services, St. Ann's Catholic Church, and Bitely Community Church.
This year the Cowboys and Cowgirls That Care are
beginning a community outreach program, in which we plan on donating our time to
handicapped riders associations, local elementary schools, and other organizations.
